Community Based Victim Services - Family/Sexualized Violence

The Family/SexualizedViolence Specialized program provides services to adults, youth and children impacted by power-based crimes, including sexualized violence, gender-based violence, intimate partner violence, and child abuse.

This is a community-based program and delivers direct services such as supportive listening, safety planning, advocacy, and crisisresponse. This program also supports individuals in navigating the criminal justice system through court orientation and accompaniment, practical support, for example providing information and assistance with victim impact statements, and access to community resources and supports. 

This program works in coordination with RCMP, MCFD, CYAC, and other key partners. This program supports individuals of all genders and is grounded in inclusive, client-centered practice.
