Childcare & Transportation

The Kelowna Women’s Shelter provides residents with transportation assistance for necessary appointments, either by:
- providing a ride in a Shelter vehicle
- arranging for a taxi
- providing bus tickets
The Shelter includes safe indoor and outdoor play areas for children. Staff and volunteers are available to provide periods of childcare when moms are:
- attending necessary appointments and court
- attending group or individual counseling sessions
- needing a short break to focus on their own wellness
- making phone calls or searching for housing or employment
We appreciate Moms and all the things they do!
