The Kelowna Women's Shelter is staffed and provides services 24 hours per day, every day of the year.  You can call 250-763-1040 and speak to a counsellor on the telephone at any time of the day or night.

You can also call to arrange an appointment to see a counsellor, either at our office or at a location in the community that is safe and accessible for you.

As well as individual counselling, the Shelter offers open, drop-in, support groups for women who either have been or still are, in unhealthy, violent, or abusive relationships.  Attending a support group provides an opportunity to gain information and support and  to benefit from the sharing of experiences, feelings and alternatives.

You may also sign up for groups focused on skill development and education in areas of communications, boundaries, rebuilding and lifeskills.
